When Giridhar Pai Associates LLP (GPA) launched the RodeXit All-In-One rodent seal (RodeXit) in India in April 2024, India became only the second country in the world, and the first in Asia, where RodeXit was available.
Since 2022, GPA has created a large market for RodeXit in India through its distributor partners among the Indian pest control operators (PCOs). Expanding RodeXit’s Reach: Sri Lanka and Beyond
Through its contacts in the South Asian region, GPA has also marketed RodeXit to the pest control industry in Sri Lanka, Maldives, Nepal, Bangladesh and Bhutan.
In August 2024, GPA exported its first RodeXit consignment to Sri Lanka for its leading pest control industry distributor, DTW International Pvt. Ltd. (DTW).
After initial meetings to discuss RodeXit with DTW’s management, including their Managing Director, Irwin Weerasinghe and Director Thamalie Perera, GPA highlighted the potential for RodeXit in Sri Lanka’s thriving pest control industry.
The Sri Lankan pest control industry has a vibrant community of pest control operators (PCOs), academic researchers, distributors and progressive customers supporting the advent of new technology to control pests in their island nation.
With the availability of RodeXit in Sri Lanka from September 2024, the DTW team is planning user education on the simplicity, ease of use, cost-effectiveness and superior rodent-prevention of RodeXit in comparison with any other branded or unbranded rodent-proofing product.
As RodeXit installation involves simple tools and can be done by pest control technicians, GPA foresees a rapid RodeXit adoption in Sri Lanka starting September 2024.
As a follow-up to the sale of RodeXit to DTW, GPA is working closely with the DTW team to conduct RodeXit awareness and demonstration sessions for the Sri Lankan pest control industry.
GPA congratulates DTW on the successful introduction of RodeXit in Sri Lanka and is confident that its country’s pest control industry will enthusiastically adopt and make extensive use of that excellent rodent-proofing product.
Sri Lanka is now the second Asian country where RodeXit is available.
