Our first five years have been a whirlwind of product launches, sales milestones, and memorable moments. As we celebrate our fifth anniversary on January 10, 2025, we look back at the key milestones that have shaped our journey.

2020: Launching a Vision Amidst a Pandemic
We launched Giridhar Pai Associates (GPA) on January 10, 2020, to bring innovative pest management solutions to India. Little did we know that a global pandemic would soon disrupt the world and test our resilience. Despite the challenges, we persevered, securing our first consulting project in May and our first product order for the FLYght One UV LED Insect Light Trap in June.
We partnered with Webchirpy to create our distinctive logo, featuring an insect and a green leaf, symbolizing our commitment to sustainable pest control. We also launched our e-commerce website, www.flyght.in, a pioneering platform for online sales of flying insect catchers in India.
By October, we had shipped our 25th FLYght trap, demonstrating the growing demand for our innovative solutions. Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions in its wake, we ended 2020 with a sense of accomplishment, having laid the foundation for future growth.
2021: Expanding Our Reach and Impact
In 2021, we continued to expand our product portfolio and marketing efforts. We launched the FLYght Duo, an improved insect light trap, and created our first marketing video to showcase its features and benefits. We also conducted training sessions for our Sri Lankan distributor, Suren Cooke Agencies Pvt. Ltd., further expanding our reach in the Asian market.
Our second annual distributor meet marked another significant milestone. We launched our e-book, “The Ultimate Guide to Choosing and Using UV LED Insect Light Traps,” and announced the “FLYght for FLIGHTS” sales contest to incentivize our distributors. By October, we had shipped our 100th FLYght trap, a testament to our growing customer base.
We ended 2021 with the launch of the Aedes-X Smart Gravitrap, an innovative solution for managing Aedes mosquitoes, the vectors of diseases like dengue and chikungunya. By the end of the year we had a portfolio of three Pestroniks products, the FLYght One, the FLYght Duo and the Aedes-X.

2022: Pioneering New Territories
In 2022, we ventured into uncharted territory. We secured our Importer Exporter code, enabling us to expand into international markets. Our first export order came from Big Tree Brands in Zambia, marking a significant milestone in our company’s growth.
We also introduced the RodeXit rodent seal, a unique and effective rodent-proofing solution, to the Indian market. This innovative product has helped numerous businesses protect their premises from rodent infestations. To date, no other custom-made rodent-proofing solution in India matches RodeXit, which remains the market leader and product of choice for fast and effective rodent-proofing of doors and shutters.
Our LinkedIn company page reached 1,000 followers, demonstrating our growing online presence and engagement with our target audience. By November, we had shipped our 200th FLYght trap, further solidifying our position in the market.

2023: Consolidating and Scaling
With the pandemic finally receding by the previous year, 2023 was a year of consolidation and growth. We secured our first 100-meter order for the RodeXit rodent seal, demonstrating the increasing adoption of our innovative solutions. We also launched our YouTube channel, featuring high-quality product videos and demonstrations.
Our first FLYght Trap shipment to Sri Lanka marked another milestone in our international expansion. Seva Facility Services Pvt. Ltd., our distributor, achieved a record-breaking installation of over 100 feet of RodeXit at a spice processing facility, showcasing the product’s versatility and effectiveness.
By December, our LinkedIn company page had reached 2,000 followers, and we had shipped our 500th meter of RodeXit, solidifying our position as a leading provider of pest management solutions.

2024: A Year of New Products and Partnerships
In 2024, we expanded our product portfolio with three new offerings: Storgard pheromone traps and lures, New Serrico Traps, and PCT Field Guides. We reintroduced Storgard to the Indian market after a period of unavailability, addressing a critical need for effective stored product pest monitoring solutions.
We secured our highest-value order from a customer in the Middle East, demonstrating our growing international reach. We also achieved significant sales milestones for each product line, including shipping our 100th Storgard kit, 500th FLYght trap, and the first order of New Serrico Traps.
Our YouTube channel grew, reaching 5,000 views and surpassing 25 videos. We also achieved our highest monthly sales revenue in November, a testament to our strong market position and customer relationships.
By the end of 2024, our YouTube channel had achieved a trifecta of milestones: 5,000+ views, 100+ hours of viewing, and 100+ subscribers. We also launched the Storgard Quick Change Dome Trap kits, providing customers with an improved and more efficient solution for stored product pest monitoring.

Looking Ahead
Our journey from 2020 to 2024 has been filled with challenges, triumphs, and remarkable growth. We are proud of our milestones and excited to continue our journey in 2025 and beyond.
