Patented bio-VE+ technology
The FLYght Duo is the world’s first UV-LED ILT that relies on a patented bio-visual enhancer (bio-VE+) coating to attract flies.
The FLYght Duo’s white bio-VE+ insert amplifies UV-A wavelength and intensity, mimicking carnivorous plants in nature.
A combination of multiple UV-A wavelengths and blue light from the FLYght Duo’s bio-VE+ insert allures houseflies to the trap, which captures them on the discreetly placed glueboard.

We have designed FLYght Duo and other FLYght Traps to be compact and fit into spaces unobtrusively.
FLYght Duo traps are sleeker and smaller than other brands because Pestroniks Innovations Pte. Ltd. (Pestroniks) engineers have intelligently designed the FLYght UV LED Insect Light Trap range to maximise UV illumination in limited space.
The size of a light trap has no bearing on the glue board catching area as the FLYght Duo uses the Universal Glue Board (UGB) that all other UV fluorescent tube-based insect light traps use.
Pestroniks sources UV LEDs for the FLYght Duo from the world’s best LED manufacturer, and we assure you of the 50,000-hour use life of FLYght Duo’s UV LEDs with uniform UV output throughout their life.
The size of FLYght Duo’s glue boards is 418 mm X 283 mm, or the same as any UGB.
Please note that glue board manufacturers provide two glue boards with perforated edges.
You must gently tear them to separate the two rectangular pieces for your use.
Further, you must discard the thin (about 20 mm wide) extra strip between the two glue boards as there is no place for it in FLYght.
Absolutely. The FLYght Duo UV LED ILT is inherently glass-free as Pestroniks uses UV LEDs and has no glass fixtures in their traps.
We have designed FLYght Duo Traps for round-the-clock use to attract and trap insects during the day or night.
Houseflies are diurnal and more active during the day when a FLYght Duo is most likely to trap them.
However, the FLYght Duo can also attract and trap other insects at night apart from stored product pests (SPPs) any time of the day.
We have designed the FLYght Duo for placement, where you can find an adequate mounting point on a wall.
Though you can fix FLYght Duo traps on walls, you can also place them on shelves or tabletops.
Our studies found that FLYght Duo traps perform best in attracting insects when placed 150 cm or 5 ft above ground level.
The frequency of glue board replacement in a FLYght Duo trap depends on the condition of the glue board.
You must replace it when it is full of flies or once every forty days.
We do not recommend a standard frequency for glue board replacement.
UV in light traps ‘cures’ the glue on glue boards, making them less sticky.
Airborne dust and other particles settle on glue boards to reduce their stickiness.
Glue board manufacturers recommend replacing the glue boards no later than 40 days in a FLYght Duo UV LED insect light trap.
In a FLYght Duo trap, you place the glue boards without facing the UV source, reducing the curing effect the UV has on the glue board’s stickiness.
The longer period between two changes of glue boards is another benefit of using a FLYght Duo trap.
Pestroniks gives a three (3) year warranty on the FLYght Duo trap from the date you purchase such traps.
Pestroniks assists the customer to have a functional FLYght Duo trap by first investigating the malfunction.
After that, Pestroniks sends the required component to the customer for replacement or replaces the FLYght Duo, depending on the issue.
Pestroniks supplies only one FLYght trap in one box.
Pestroniks supplies sixty (60) FLYght traps on one pallet.
We have extensively tested FLYght with other leading Indian insect light traps that use 30 or 45W UV fluorescent tubes.

No, we recommend you switch on your FLYght Duo 24/7 as the trap attracts and trap insects on its glueboards during the day or night.
Instal the FLYght Duo trap close to all entry points and close to areas in your factory where you see houseflies congregate.
Please ensure that the FLYght Duo traps you place near entry points are not visible from outside, as you do not want to attract flies inside.
When placing FLYght Duo’s traps, ensure no other UV or visible light source is next to the trap.
You can fix the trap on walls at 150 cm. (5 ft.) height above the floor.
FLYght Duo traps are made of aluminum.
Pestroniks sources its UV LEDs in its FLYght Duo trap from the world’s best manufacturer of such products.
All LEDs of that manufacturer, whether ordinary or UV LEDs, last 50,000 hours.
The UV LED manufacturer has provided Pestroniks published data that their UV LEDs uniformly generate UV throughout 50,000 operating hours.
Pestroniks has incorporated a patented bio-VE+ technology in the FLYght Duo and has chosen UV LEDs to complement such features.
No, we do not recommend FLYght Duo to monitor fruit flies.
Fruit flies have compound eyes that do not have a positive phototactic response to UV like in houseflies. Hence, you cannot attract fruit flies in the FLYght Duo trap.
You may consider using odour attractants to lure and trap fruit flies.
