By partnering with Spain’s Barlesa, S.L., we have reintroduced this crucial rodent-proofing product to the Indian market, which was initially introduced by Xcluder from the USA nearly a decade ago.
However, successfully introducing Rodent Proof Fill Fabric involves more than just logistics; it requires a robust collaboration with the pest control industry to ensure widespread recognition and adoption.
At GPA, we have always prioritised working closely with our PCO partners to provide innovative, non-toxic pest-prevention solutions tailored to the Indian context. Many Indian PMPs are familiar with Xcluder fill fabric and its benefits. Still, there remains a knowledge gap regarding the distinct advantages of our Rodent Proof Fill Fabric over common but ineffective materials like steel wool, which are often used but fail to provide lasting protection against rodents.
Traditional rodent-proofing materials like white cement and polyurethane foam can be easily compromised by persistent rats and mice shortly after installation. Some PMPs even resort to unreliable remedies, such as powdered glass, which offer little real protection.
