The Beginning of the Seva Facility Services and GPA Partnership
The collaboration between GPA and Seva Facility Services began when GPA became the official distributor for the RodeXit All-In-One rodent seal (RodeXit), a leading rodent-proofing solution developed by Denmark’s RodeXit N.A. ApS. Initially, the challenge was to gain traction for RodeXit in the Indian market. In the initial phase, several food industry customers used RodeXit independently, relying on their engineering teams for installation. However, the lack of local video documentation and supporting materials posed a significant barrier to promoting RodeXit among pest control operators (PCOs) and end-user customers.
RodeXit videos from Denmark, where it is made, and from the USA, where it was first used, failed to resonate in India due to differences in building construction, installation methods, and tools. Recognising this gap, GPA sought a partner to create relevant content tailored for the Indian market, which led us to Seva Facility Services (SFS).

Meet the Visionary: Hiraman Rathod and the SFS Team
Hiraman Rathod (Hiraman), a former colleague of mine, founded Seva Facility Services in 2016. With a clear vision to enhance pest management solutions in India, Hiraman and his team emerged as a driving force in promoting innovative rodent-proofing strategies. SFS stepped forward to assist GPA in creating valuable installation videos for RodeXit. By identifying a suitable warehouse for demonstration and filming, SFS made the first step toward transforming rodent-proofing practices in India.
In March 2023, following thorough preparation and adherence to the installation manual, the collaboration successfully installed RodeXit on a rolling shutter in a local warehouse and on a door at a residential apartment complex. The two installations captured the attention of potential customers, displaying the efficacy of RodeXit in the Indian context.

Pioneering Rodent Proofing Education and Awareness
The successful RodeXit installations fostered confidence among the SFS team, prompting them to promote the product to food companies actively. The demand for RodeXit surged, with organisations recognising it as an ideal solution for creating rodent-proof barriers. Many food production facilities looking to comply with international safety standards, such as BRCGS and AIB International, started utilising RodeXit to fortify their buildings against rodent intrusion.
To further raise awareness, the SFS team leveraged digital marketing, running creative social media campaigns and informative YouTube videos. The outreach efforts paid off, resulting in numerous SFS RodeXit installations across food warehouses throughout India. With GPA’s growing confidence in Seva Facility Services, referrals for RodeXit installations began pouring in, fostering a mutually beneficial relationship.
Innovating the Installation Process
One of the keys to SFS’s success has been its continuous innovation in the RodeXit installation process. Keen to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, the SFS team researched and adopted alternatives to improve the RodeXit installation process. By switching from screws to rivets as fasteners, installations became quicker while significantly enhancing durability. SFS’s innovation of using rivets expedited installation and enhanced the reliability of the RodeXit rodent-proof barrier.

The First Installer of Rodent Proof Fill Fabric
In addition to their achievements with RodeXit, Seva Facility Services became the first Indian PCO to successfully install the Rodent Proof Fill Fabric, marketed by GPA since November 2025. Upon discovering a failing rodent-proofing method at an educational institution, the SFS team creatively utilised the fill fabric to seal potential rodent entry points that had been previously filled with white cement by another service provider. The application of Rodent Proof Fill Fabric has further established SFS’s status as a rodent-proofing expert.
The Importance of Visual Education
GPA recognised the critical role of visual education in promoting rodent-proofing solutions. As a distributor, we relied on key installers like Seva Facility Services. Their efforts in producing detailed videos and photos not only showcased successful installations but also offered valuable guidance for fellow PCOs and end-user customers. We leveraged these visual assets to exemplify effective rodent-proofing techniques, enhancing educational outreach within the industry.
Future Directions: Hosting Rodent Proofing Academy sessions
With a wealth of experience gained through marketing RodeXit and Rodent Proof Fill Fabric, GPA and SFS are now laying the groundwork for Rodent Proofing Academy sessions. This initiative aims to educate Indian PCOs on effective rodent-proofing practices through structured workshops. The academy will focus on equipping Pest Management Professionals (PMPs) with the knowledge required to address rodent issues comprehensively, highlighting both branded and unbranded rodent-proofing products.
PMPs will learn how proactive rodent prevention can reduce the reliance on rodent trapping and baiting. By addressing root causes related to hygiene and entry points, participants will enhance their service offerings, leading to increased profitability and operational success.
