The Giridhar Pai Associates YouTube Channel achieves a major milestone
On 4 December 2024, the Giridhar Pai Associates (GPA) YouTube Channel achieved a major milestone or the ‘trifecta’ of 5000+ viewers, 100+ hours of viewing and 100+ subscribers.
In this blog post, we briefly trace the journey of the GPA YouTube Channel and its plans for 2025.
In September 2020, after our first customer purchased the Pestroniks Innovations’ FLYght One UV LED Insect Light Trap, we received a call asking for its installation instructions.
Despite having a sample, I couldn’t effectively explain the process over a video call, especially given the trap’s unique design. That’s when we realised the power of video and planned to make product videos to explain product features to customers!
Our first product video: We began our video journey in July 2021 with a one-minute animation about the FLYght Duo for which we commissioned Creative Injection. This video nicely summarised the FLYght Duo, our flagship product that became very popular in the Indian market starting in 2021.
Our first Hindi video: By the end of 2021, we had created English and Hindi videos on the Aedes-X Smart Gravitrap with templates from Singapore’s Papachew Design company. Taking help from Eric Chew, Papachew’s founder, we translated the original English script into Hindi, after which Eric had an artist render the voice-over. Our partners, Pestroniks Innovations Pte. Ltd., supported creating the Hindi version of the Aedes-X video.
Launch of the GPA YouTube Channel: On 24 March 2023, we officially launched the GPA YouTube channel to showcase our products and provide valuable resources to our audience. In the week we started our YouTube channel, we uploaded seven videos, including four we created through EDC Creative Technology Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (EDC CTS) in March 2023. Following are the four EDC CTS videos in which we used voice-over artists.

Growth and milestones of our YouTube channel: We’ve been steadily growing, recently surpassing 5000+ views, 100+ viewing hours, and 100+ subscribers!
We are committed to consistently uploading new content, averaging one video every 19 days between March 2023 and July 2024.
Our partners, Pestroniks Innovations, have been instrumental in helping us create high-quality features and maintenance videos for their FLYght and Aedes-X Traps.
We used Filmrs to create four high-quality RodeXit features and installation videos in April 2023. The RodeXit videos are among our channel’s most popular as they represent a unique product for rodent proofing.

Creating the world’s first insect light trap time-lapse videos: We have collaborated with Filmrs to create more videos recently, having made the following four FLYght Trap videos, two of them being the first in the world to have time-lapse footage of an insect light trap attracting and trapping houseflies.
The timelapse videos compressed the footage of house flies captured by FLYght One and FLYght Duo into one-minute videos.
The other two videos show how it is possible to replace the glueboards in FLYght One and FLYght Duo in less than a minute, combining our product’s user-friendliness with demonstrating its ease of use to the audience.
Continual video addition: We continually seek opportunities to create videos to help our customers understand our products better. RodeXit offers the most opportunities for video creation among our products due to its nature.
As RodeXit customers need to install it on doors or shutters, we used Vheeds Technology Solutions Pvt. Ltd. to create a video on How to Easily Rodent Proof Shutters.
GPA YouTube Channel – for round-the-clock product marketing: Thanks to collaborations with professional agencies like Creative Injection, Papachew, EDC CTS, Filmrs Media, and Vheeds Technology, we now have 25 high-quality videos on our channels that effortlessly communicate our product features, advantages, and benefits, 24/7/365.
The GPA YouTube Channel has become a powerful marketing tool, and we continually analyse its performance to improve video quality, optimise duration, and enhance viewer understanding.
We are not resting on our laurels, though!
We are continually planning new videos and improvements in our channel content.

In 2024, we launched three product categories: Storgard, Ecomone and PCT Field Guides.
Storgard pheromone traps and lures are India’s leading stored product pest monitoring tools. In contrast, the Ecomone New Serrico Trap is popular among niche users for monitoring cigarette beetle populations inside enclosed spaces, including transport vehicles.
The Pest Control Technology (PCT) Field Guides are the latest GPA product category available since November 2024 and are India’s only structural pest control industry field guides.
The Indian pest control industry has enthusiastically welcomed the launch of PCT Field Guides, ordering them for employee reference and training.
